1. Who we are
CDL Pro Hub (“CDL Pro Hub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an independent commercial driver’s license study application. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by the FMCSA, AAMVA, DMV, or any federal or state government agency.

2. Scope
This policy applies to the CDL Pro Hub mobile app, this website, and support interactions. Third-party stores and services operate under their own privacy policies.
3. Information we process
Information stored on your device
- Your testing state, explanation language, CDL class goal, air-brake selection, endorsements, application goal, English comfort level, daily goal, and optional planned test date.
- Lesson progress, answers and accuracy summaries, weak topics, review schedules, mock-exam history, locally saved sessions, and question issue reports.
- Bundled study questions and content required for offline use.
Information synchronized through Firebase
- A randomly assigned anonymous Firebase user identifier. The app does not require your name, email address, phone number, or social sign-in to create this account.
- Selected language, study progress, review events, and related timestamps used to restore and synchronize your learning activity.
- Purchase claim, platform, transaction reference, verification status, and entitlement expiration information when you request ad-free access.
Advertising and consent information
Google Mobile Ads and Google’s User Messaging Platform may process advertising identifiers, IP address, general device information, app interactions, ad performance, diagnostics, approximate location inferred from network information, and privacy or consent choices. Whether personalized advertising is requested depends on your region, choices, device settings, and Google’s policies. Ads do not interrupt questions or mock exams.
Purchases
Google Play or Apple processes payment details. CDL Pro Hub does not receive your full card number. We receive purchase tokens, transaction identifiers, product information, status, and dates needed to verify and provide your ad-free entitlement, prevent fraud, and handle support.
Support communications
If you contact us, we process the email address and information you provide in order to respond. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card information, or sensitive government identifiers.
4. How we use information
- Provide, personalize, maintain, and secure the app.
- Save progress, restore study activity, schedule reviews, and support multiple devices.
- Verify purchases and maintain ad-free access.
- Display, measure, and control advertising in accordance with consent choices.
- Diagnose problems, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
5. When information is shared
We do not sell your study records or personal profile. We disclose information only as needed to operate the app, complete a transaction, comply with law, protect rights and security, or complete a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
- Google Firebase: anonymous authentication, cloud database, and cloud functions.
- Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform: advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and privacy choices.
- Google Play and Apple: store distribution, billing, purchase verification, refunds, and entitlement management.
Advertising-related disclosures may be treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some U.S. state laws. You can review available choices from Ad privacy choices inside the app and through your device settings.
6. Legal bases and choices
Where applicable, we process information to perform the service you request, based on consent, to comply with law, and for legitimate interests such as security, support, product operation, and fraud prevention. You may withdraw advertising consent through the app where the privacy-options entry is required and available. Withdrawal does not affect processing already completed.
7. Retention
Local study information remains until you delete it, delete your account in the app, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Synchronized information is generally retained while your anonymous account is active. When account deletion completes, CDL Pro Hub deletes the associated Firebase account and synchronized app records. App stores, payment processors, and service providers may retain transaction, security, fraud-prevention, backup, or legal records under their own policies and applicable law.
8. Your controls and rights
- Change your study profile and explanation language inside the app.
- Review advertising choices through More → Ad privacy choices.
- Delete your anonymous account and associated app data through More → Privacy, terms & support → Delete account and all data.
- Use our account and data deletion page if you cannot access the app.
- Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. We may need to verify the request.
9. Children
CDL Pro Hub is designed for adult CDL learners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it.
10. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access rules and encryption in transit. No system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries under their contractual and legal safeguards.
11. This website
This static marketing website does not use account login, advertising cookies, or analytics at launch. Basic server logs and security information may be processed by Firebase Hosting and its infrastructure to deliver and protect the site. Links to app stores and other sites are governed by those services.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the app, providers, or legal requirements change. The updated date above will identify the latest version. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or store listing.
